About the class:Drawing, painting, printmaking, collage and more!  We will make zines, do observational drawing & watercolor as well as experimental and imaginative projects.  We will take breaks outdoors at Strawberry Creek Park and do some outdoor projects including plein air painting.  This class is best for kids with a strong interest in art and some art experience.
All materials included.

About the teacher:  René Smith received her M.F.A. in Painting from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and her B.A. in Painting from Bennington College in Vermont.  She has taught portfolio preperation classes for high school students at Tyler School of Art and Moore College of Art and beginning undergraduate through MFA painting classes at several institutions including St. Thomas Aquinas College in NY, Temple University in Rome, and Chiang Mai University in Thailand.
